You can't travel faster than the deck can process clippings. Many of the Hydrostats are made by Hydro-Gear. The numbers refer to how light or heavy duty the Hydrostats are. Most residential ZTR mowers use the EZT units and the more expensive "Acreage mowers" have the ZT-2800. High dollar commercial ZTRs use Scags, Exmark Etc. use heavy duty Hydrostats.
